MY STORY
Richard Brown is a composer, musician and teacher based in Nottingham, UK, holding an undergraduate degree in BA Music (Hons) and a postgraduate Master’s degree in MA Music Composition from York St John University. Richard composes for a diverse range of musical genres from Baroque through to modern Pop and Rock, with a speciality in the eras of Impressionism and Romanticism.
Having played music for over 20 years, Richard has experienced a multitude of settings and styles from small rock venues to grand settings such as the York Minster being proficient in a selection of instruments from classical piano, to vocals, guitar, drums and bass.
